MS Review : HG 1/144 Beginning Gundam (Part 2 - Final)

Hello guys, welcome back to my blog! ^_^

This time, like I said before, I will post a detailed review of parts of my Beginning Gundam.

Here we go :D

Head

Maybe the Beginning's head is a bit different from usual primary MS, well it's a special unit after all :p .

Instead having a vulcan gun mounted on its head, it shoots a vulcan-like beam bullets from the blue parts beneath its clear V-fin (which actually made from Beam in battle). Overall, the head design is good too. I added the details with a Gundam Marker like the lines and the eyes.

Body

Very good and unique design for a body, it feels like the body have a thruster near the shoulder joints :3 (although that's not a thruster XD ).

The connector at the back is for the 6 Beam Sabers that would be mounted there.

Well, not bad :3 .

Hands

Beginning's hands. Like its body, it has an unique design too :3 . Unfortunately, the red parts near the palm cannot be moved because it has no articulation and it gonna disturb the rotation of the palms -_- .

The elbow can be bended like this (the left hand at its maximum bended point).

The most dissappointing point for this kit maybe (for me) the lack of palm variants. Beginning just have 2 right handed palms (when holding Beam Saber and holding Beam Rifle) and 1 closed left handed palm. I wonder whether the Builder Parts : 1/144 MS Hands worked with Beginning since it comes with at least 4 pair of palm variants (holding a saber and rifle, closed, and open palm) :3 .

Waist

Front side

Maybe Beginning Gundam has a triangle motif, you can find the triangle-like objects or motifs on its body, even at its waist XD.

Back side

It is slim, isn't it? XD

There's no differrence between right and left leg except the parts that would be connected to the waist.

The legs can be bended like this :3 .

Beginning Gundam (Weaponless)

Fully assembled Beginning Gundam. Looks like it is a bit muscular, haha XD .

"Hashire, Beginning!" XD .

Weapons

Beam Sabers (x6)

Beginning has 6 sabers mounted on its back, yet it just come with 1 beam saber effect parts -_- .
*I wanna try to make its opponent stabbed by all of this sabers, just like Exia does to Alvaaron :3

Beam Rifle

Simple-but-unique Beam Rifle :3 . Sorry for the painting, my white Gundam Marker is a bit broken -_-

Shield

It has a set of 3 Beam Saber mounted at the back of the shield just for decoration :3 .

"Irei Haru, Beginning Gundam, take off!!!"

Now let's using Beam Rifle.

Don't forget to bring your shield bro :p

Final

Overall, this kit is awesome for me. I have coated it now so the lining effect will not went off from it.
And surprisingly, Beginning has a girlfriend some days ago :p

I have a Beginning D Gundam too, but hasn't build yet. Maybe next time if I have some spare time :3
For HG line, maybe I just going to collect some MS from Gunpla Builders anime, like Beginning J, Forever Gundam, and of course Bearguy XD . Hope I can got them as soon as possible :3
